Beit Midrash TLV – Full Time Program

What is Beit Midrash TLV?

Beit Midrash TLV is a semester long immersive learning experience at BINA's Secular Yeshiva in Tel Aviv. This is the only full-time Jewish learning program in English in Tel Aviv. Our learning is offered in an egalitarian, non-coercive, pluralistic environment. Our students are primarily English speaking young adults (ages 23-35) from around the world, but we are open to participants of all ages. Study with BINA’s highly regarded faculty, consisting of teachers from across the denominational spectrum. The course schedule is made up of classes such as Tanakh, Talmud, Jewish Studies electives in various topics, Modern Hebrew, and more. Study is open to students of all backgrounds and affiliations. In addition to the program’s course schedule, participants are offered opportunities to spend time familiarizing themselves with the BINA community and with Tel Aviv. All full-time students volunteer in local social-justice organizations in south Tel Aviv. In addition, Shabbat experiences and holiday celebrations promote group bonding, and offer non-traditional spaces for communal experiences. Dates:
